About

Hi, I’m Pam Reece, God’s creation. I’m a best-selling Amazon author, host of the Bust A Move Radio/Podcast show that’s heard in several countries. I’m a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and not ashamed of it! I’m a mentor, advocate, philanthropist, entrepreneur and now Editor-In-Chief of the BAM Magazine! Wow! Not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be Editor-In-Chief of a successful magazine! I’m calling it successful by faith!
I’m 58 years old! I’m alive today and have not only survived but am thriving! I’m here to tell you that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams unless of course you’re dead! There are so many people who have realized their dreams later in life. Want some examples? Sure! Let me fire away!

-
Laura Ingalls, the author of Little House on the Prairie was 43 when she started writing. She was 65 when her book was published. She didn’t let age stop the unveiling of her talents.
-
Susan Boyle’s singing career took off at the age of 47 after her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent. She defied the criticisms and now her album is one of the best-selling of all time in the U.K.
-
The founder of the famous burger joint, McDonald’s, was 52 years old when he started the business.
-
The founder of Honda was 42 years old when he started.
-
Colonel Sanders was 65 when he started Kentucky Fried Chicken.
-
Julia Child was 49 when she wrote her first cookbook.
There are tons of examples of older people pursuing their dreams later in life. So, if you’re feeling stuck or thinking it’s too late – my friend it’s time to rid yourself of toxic thoughts. I made up my mind that I don’t want to reach the age of 85 years old, sitting on the front porch – sipping sweet tea with regrets of what I could have or should have done in life. Age is a number, it’s not you personified.
So here we are with another magazine. What distinguishes this magazine from the others? Well, it’s my creation! The BAM Magazine is designed to highlight and spotlight people from everywhere who are busting a move and impacting lives in their part of the world. It’s a magazine designed to inspire, motivate, inform, encourage and propel the reader to get moving! We’ve been sent to the earth for a purpose. Our major purpose is to impact the lives of others in some way.
That’s it! Short and to the point – no need to complicate it.
From my childhood, I used to stand in the mirror holding the brush in my hand and act like I was an anchorwoman for a major news network. I had the late breaking story, and it was my turn to deliver the story, captivating the listening audience. No doubt I had the gift! I just needed to cultivate it, but I got derailed because of an unstable childhood. Eventually, I forgot and moved on to do something different in life – and I was successful at it. I still thought about the “what ifs?" Something was missing! I needed to create like God! So, at the age of 56, I started my own radio/podcast show. And here I am at 58 with my own magazine! Honestly, I gave up on the dream, but God awakened the desire and gave me the green light to pursue it. Age is just a number! Some of us take off earlier in life - some of us bloom a little bit later. Don’t be so hard on yourself! Dust off that dream and put it to action. The very fact that you’re alive is a clear signal that you should be busting a move!
I want to share some useful tips because a good read isn’t just about telling a great story, it’s about providing practical solutions that can be implemented for great and rewarding results.
How to get out of the slump of “it’s too late now”.
-
Agree that it’s not too late
-
Rid yourself of naysayers
-
Make a short list of what you want to accomplish in the next 30 days – and each day work that list.
-
Get an accountability partner to keep you on track - someone that believes in you!
-
Keep moving – keep moving!
-
Here’s something to sober you up: why keep it to yourself? You were endowed with gifts and talents from God. Why keep the gift to yourself?
And last, Phil 4:13 in The Passion Translation: “I find the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.” Reader, erase all your doubts and replace them with – “I can do it, I will do it, I find the strength to put my dreams into action every day!”
You don’t want any regrets. Don’t rob yourself of the fulfillment that God has for you. I hope you feel empowered.
